Article 3 (Regulation besides the terms)
Any issue not defined in the terms of use will follow related laws or practices/customs.
Section 2. Member registration
Article 4 (Member registration)
Peron who wants to use the service as registering to membership should provide
the general personal information required by EQAICC.
¨è Member registration is done by applicant¡¯s submitting the application form
after
he/she has read the terms.
Article 5 (Limitation of member registration)
EQAICC may refuse the application for member registration for the following
reasons.
1. Declared name is not a real one
2. The application is in the name of other.
3. The content of application is false
4. The application is on wicked purpose.
Section 3. Provision of service and its use
Article 6 (Provision of service)
EQAICC reserves the right at any time and from time to time add or modify the
service
without member¡¯s agreement. EQAICC will make notice prior to modification.
Article 7 (Use of servce)
¨ç Use of the service is possible for 24 hours of 24 hours along the year
as long as there is no technical or work damage on the certification center.
¨è However, the service may be limited entirely or partially in exceptional cases
where there are problems in using the service such as system breakdown,
congestion of service use or regular system check by the certification.
Article 8 (Service fee)
¨ç The service that EQAICC provides is in principle for free.
¨è EQAICC may charge service fee later on for certain contents and in this case,
it will make announcement for details in advance.
Section 4. Obligations
Article 9 (Obligations of the
certification center)
¨ç EQAICC shall provide continuously and stably the service to members according
to
the terms and related laws.
¨è EQAICC shall treat member¡¯s opinion or complaints promptly if they are reasonable
in compliance with the procedure. In case of any delay, EQAICC shall inform
member
of the reason and time schedule.
¨é EQAICC shall keep confidentiality for member¡¯s personal information. EQAICC
may
use the information internally to improve the service, but shall not rent, sell
or share to
other individual or other organization on other purposes.
Article 10 (Member obligations)
¨ç Member is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the ID and password.
¨è Member shall immediately notify EQAICC in case his/her ID is used wrongfully.
¨é Member shall comply with the terms and related laws.
Member shall not modify or process intentionally the information provided.
Member should get the approval from EQAICC in advance in case of the
modification or processing.
Section 5. Termination and limitation
of service use
Article 11 (Termination)
¨ç If member wants to unsubscribe, he/she shall request the termination through
the unsubscribing service.
¨è Member will be automatically unsubscribed by clicking ¡°unsubscribe¡± after
he/she identifies himself/herself as entering the name and ID.
¨é If member cannot log-in with existing ID and password, he/she is unsubscribed.
The ID once unsubscribed shall not be used even by former user.
¨ê EQAICC may terminate member¡¯s account without prior notice for the following
cases.
1. Disturbance of public order and customs
2. Criminal acts
3. Trial to obstruct national or public interest
4. Registration with fake name or other¡¯s name
5. Use of other¡¯s ID and password by stealth
6. Defamation of or damage to others
7. Multiple registrations of one user with different ID
8. Obstruction of sane use of the service
9. Violation or breach of related laws or the terms
10. Modification or processing of the service provided without prior approval
of EQAICC
Section 6. Provision of information
EQAICC makes it a rule
to provide all information for the service through homepage.
Additional clause
The terms of use take effect on April 1, 2003.
